300 grms flour
150 grms sugar + enough for finishin
100 gr almonds
3 eggs + 1 for finishing
3 tablespoon of oil
1 tea spoon baking powder
vanilla or lemon zest
Mix flour with baking powder, sugar and the choosen aroma.
Add the 3 eggs, oil and almonds.
Mix first with a fork than with hands to get a soft but workable dough.
Shape 3 sticks and place hen onto the baking tray covered with greaseproof paper.
Brush the 3 sticks with 1 beaten egg and sprinkle with plentiful sugar.
Bake in the on at 190°C. For 20 minutes than for other 10 minutes at 180° to get a nice and gold looking.
Remove the tray from the oven and place the sticks onto a plan then cut them in diagonal logs of 1,5 cmtrs width.
Let cool the cantucci before eating them.
