OVEN ROASTED ONIONS

Anoher way to enjoy onions that is easy, pretty quick and delicious.

Onions are a very poor ingredient but they are essential in tuscan cooking, we use them in almost every dish, but even eaten alone they are really a big pleasure.

Choose the onions that you prefer and cut them in half horizontally. Place the halves of onions onto a baking tin, season them with salt, thyme, bread crumbs and oil than cook in the oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes.

If you like, you can add grated cheese on top 5 minutes before the end of cooking time to melt it, you will love the even more!!!
